From Mon 18 March Dr Brenda Gibson is taking a well-earned break and will be on leave for two weeks, returning to work on Tues 2 Apr. However, she is already booking up fast after her return and currently has no appointments available until mid-April.

While Dr Gibson is on leave Dr Theo Meijer will be working as her locum, and our Nurse Practitioner Intern, Jasper, is also available to see patients. Dr Meijer, Jasper, and some of our other GPs are also available upon Dr Gibson’s return if you’re unable to get an appointment with her soon enough.

While we very much understand having a preference for seeing your own GP, if you are a patient of Dr Gibson then we strongly encourage you to book in with Dr Meijer, our Nurse Practitioner Intern, or one of our other GPs if you need to see a doctor while she is unavailable. If you are seeking an appointment with Dr Gibson and reception informs you that there is nothing available within your preferred timeframe then you will need to see another clinician.

Dr Meijer will be dealing with Dr Gibson’s incoming results, prescription requests, reports, and queries during this time. But please note that Dr Gibson’s email inbox will not be monitored and we would ask that you refrain from sending any emails to her email address while she is on leave. Please call reception instead or, if you have documents to send us, email these to reception@ttmc.co.nz.
