Due to unforeseen circumstances and significant staff shortages we will only have one GP working on the morning of Fri 5th July and no GP cover for the afternoon.
If you don't already have a GP appointment for the morning, then there will be no capacity to offer GP appointments, prescribe medications, issue medical certificates, or provide any other services requiring GP input on this date.
Please ensure all prescription requests are in before midday on Thursday 4th July.
On Friday 5th July you will need to use Practice Plus for virtual consultations or visit an After Hours clinic if you require an in-person consultation for urgent care or support. For any injuries - such as fractures, cuts, concussions, etc. - you will need to visit an After Hours clinic.
If it is an emergency, call 111 or visit your nearest Emergency Department.
We sincerely apologise - but unfortunately, despite all efforts, we have been unable to secure a GP to cover for us on this date.
Other staff will be available until 12PM on Fri 5th July to answer queries and book future appointments. From 12PM our practice will be closed. We will reopen at our usual time on Mon 8th July.
