Ngā mihi nui - we want to extend a huge thank to our patients for your understanding these past weeks, especially to those of you who have had appointments rescheduled.
When it rains it pours! With a GP and practice nurse already away on scheduled leave, our staffing was shortened further by Dr Brenda Gibson's accident and by our Nurse Practitioner Intern needing to take sudden leave.
We are almost back to our usual staffing levels now, except:
our practice nurse Sian remains on leave until early Mahuru/September
Dr Brenda Gibson will be continuing to work part-time for at least the rest of Hōngongoi/July and most likely Here-turi-kōkā/August as well
Aroha mai. We know it's been a messy time, and your patience and kindness while we work through this period and while Dr Gibson recovers has not gone unnoticed.
