Making Connections Day - Wed 2 October 9AM-3PM
Age Concern is hosting another Making Connections Day, this time at the St James Theatre.
This event is FREE but requires registration as spaces are limited. Hon Casey Costello, the Minister for Seniors, will be giving the keynote speech, and the day will be about making connections with other seniors, with organisations and businesses that can help you, and with Age Concern.
Staying Safe Class for Older Drivers
Staying Safe is a FREE classroom-based refresher workshop for senior drivers, run in partnership with Waka Kotahi (NZTA).
Registrations are required and there are three available dates/locations:
Wed 28 Aug at Anvil House, Te Aro 10AM-2PM
Tues 17 Sept at Upper Hutt Cossie Club 10AM-2PM
Thurs 19 Sept at Wanuiomata Community Club 10AM-2PM
OMAI FA'ATASI - COME TOGETHER - for Pasifika Seniors
Age Concern is partnering with Atamu to provide Omai Fa'atasi, a regular event for Pasifika seniors to gather together, enjoy fun activities, have some lunch and a chat, and make new friends.
No registration required, just show up on the day at Salvation Army, 89 Warspite Ave, Cannons Creek, Porirua:
