Emerge Aotearoa are facilitating free mental health and addiction workshops that are run by people with lived experiences of mental health distress and/or addictions.
These mental health and addiction workshops are available to anyone aged over 18 years who experience mental health distress and/or addictions (no formal diagnosis needed).
The following locations and times are available:
Newtown: begins Mon 15 July, 11AM-1.30PM, Newtown Community Centre (corner of Colombo & Rintoul Streets)
Tawa: begins Wed 17 Jul, 1PM-3.30PM, Tawa Community Centre (5 Cambridge Street)
Kāpiti: begins Thurs 18 July, 12.30PM-3PM, Kāpiti Impact Hub (6 Tongariro Street, Paraparaumu)
You can self-refer or be referred by your doctor.
